What is Telemedicine For Us?

Telemedicine For Us is a platform that allows patients to connect with competent and compassionate board-certified physicians to provide non-emergent care via video visits with a particular aim of being the only platform that works to pair African American physicians and providers with African American patients to improve health outcomes in our community.

Does Telemedicine For Us treat all conditions?

No, our practice provides non emergent care for several conditions seen above. This practice does not provide primary care or care for emergent conditions that warrant an in person visit in the Emergency Room or Urgent Care facilities.

How Much does a visit cost?

There is a flat fee of $75 for each visit

Does Telemedicine For Us accept health insurance?
 
No, however, a super bill will be provided that can be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement.

Will I need special software to access this site?

You will need to use Safari or Google Chrome. Either a computer or cell phone can be used to access eClinicalWorks, the electronic medical system. You will not have to download any special app. If you are able to access the internet, you will be able to use this service by clicking a link that will be provided.

Can the doctor prescribe or refill any medication?

Our doctors are board certified physicians and can send prescriptions to any pharmacy. However, controlled substances, narcotics, sleep medications, certain anti-anxiety medications, injections, and weight loss medications will not be prescribed.

How do I ensure that my visit is private?

We use a platform that is HIPPA compliant and encrypted. Please see our privacy policy.

What ages of patients are seen on your platform?

Currently we serve patients 18 and older.
