Meet identical twin doctors Dr. Tranese Greene Cook and Dr. Nichole Greene LeBoyd
Dr. Cook and Dr. LeBoyd were born and raised in Metro-Atlanta. They knew from the age of 5 years old that they wanted to become physicians and help others. Neither of the twins had ever seen an African American female physician before and it was only a notion when they began their journey. They were steadfast on their path and after spending a summer at Xavier University of Louisiana in high school, they knew that was where they wanted to attend college. They graduated magna cum laude from Xavier and went to their first choice for medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) in Atlanta, Ga and graduated in 2002. At Morehouse, they developed a passion for serving the underserved community. In 2002, they were given a proclamation at the State Capital in recognition as the first female set of twins graduating from medical school in the state of Georgia history.
